The Department of Public Health Dentistry observed UNICEF Day with the theme “My Day, My Rights” by organizing academic and outreach activities focused on promoting awareness of children’s rights and health.
A school outreach programme was conducted, which included an oral health awareness session, distribution of oral hygiene kits, and a drawing competition to encourage understanding of oral health and child rights. Additionally, a college-level drawing competition was organized to provide students with a platform to creatively express their views on child rights and well-being.
The programme reflects the department’s commitment to community-oriented dentistry, preventive health education, and institutional social responsibility, contributing to the promotion of a healthier and more informed society.
