DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Pharmacology is the branch of medicine concerned with the uses, effects and modes of action of drugs. It studies how different chemicals affect biological systems, and incorporates knowledge and skills from a number of basic science disciplines including physiology, biochemistry, and cellular and molecular biology.
Pharmacology is the science of drugs that produce therapeutically useful effects which are given to prevent, diagnose or cure disease processes.
This department is well equipped with various pharmaceutical apparatus like dispensing balance, liquid measures, pestle & mortar, pill tile, spatulas etc. that help the students to learn the art of preparing and dispensing drugs for use by the patients.
